NEW HIRES
Jason Dimon joined Symbology, Minneapolis, as a sales representative. Dimon will concentrate on Same Day Label order handling, preparing label quotes, prospecting, and database and communication tracking. He will also serve as the company's representative at industry events.
Gordon Klepec was hired as director of sales at Wright Business Forms Inc., Portland, Ore. Prior to joining Wright Business Graphics, Klepec served as sales and marketing manager for Block Graphics, Paso Robles, Calif.
John Armistead joined Transcontinental Direct as a sales executive in Longwood, Fla. He formerly served as an account executive at Cenveo, and has more than 15 years' experience in the direct mail industry. Additionally, Armistead held sales and management positions with North American Communications, The Instant Web Companies and Heinrich Marketing.
Lisa Kor was hired as marketing manager at Fey Line in Edgerton, Minn., where she is responsible for trade show coordination and corporate communications. Prior to joining the company, Kor worked in sales for a distributor and in various marketing roles at The Schwan Food Company. Dawn Blom was promoted to catalog coordinator, and Melissa Van Dyke has taken the position of CSR for the eastern United States
Steve Stennett was hired as vice president of U.S. sales at TOWER Software, Reston, Va. He has more than 20 years' experience with software and solutions sales management, as well as with public and private ECM markets. Most recently, he worked as a regional director for fusion middleware at Oracle.
Peter Kleinheider was appointed “manager partner network” for the Berlin-based distributorship callas software. Kleinheider has worked in the industry for 20 years, at firms such as Desktop Team, Rotheneder and Inpetto. In his new position, he'll organize partner and client workshops and address technical inquiries.
PROMOTIONS
Chuck Duggan was promoted to vice president of operations at UniGraphic Inc., Woburn, Mass. In his new position, Duggan develops the pre-press, commercial print and large format departments, as well as leads the management team. He spent 10 years as director of operations at Globalware Solutions Inc., and also worked at ZBR Publications, Calendar Press and AL Larsen Company in various print industry positions.
Taag Erickson was promoted to regional sales manager, commercial for the eastern United States, at NELA, Oakdale, Minn. David Burkhart, product manager for commercial, will cover the western U.S. region.
Rachel Barbieri was appointed sales account executive at KPEX, a Kohler Print Group company based in St. Louis. Barbieri has five years’ experience with KPEX and will develop digital business and direct marketing opportunities. She has also worked for Jerome Group, St. Louis.
Thomas Vacchiano Jr. was promoted to president and chief executive officer of X-Rite, Granville, Mich. Vacchiano, who also serves as a member of the board, was CEO at Amzys Holding AG until it was bought by X-Rite this year.
