The Print Solutions Conference & Expo featured 360 booths offering business forms, commercial printing, plastic products, direct mail, promotional products, digital printing, labels, security documents, integrated products and more. The following nine booths were chosen as winners.
Best Overall
With an ice cream vendor theme, Dayton, Ohio-based Wilmer touted its flavorful products, including pressure seal mailers, stock and custom labels, and software-compatible checks and forms. Visitors to Envelope Mart USA's booth were greeted with colorful leis, music and staff members of the Elyria, Ohio-based firm who were dressed in Hawaiian shirts. The booth featured a tiki hut decorated with torches, totems and tropical fruit. FormStore® Incorporated, Fenton, Mo., showcased its Technology Center booth with live demonstrations of LaserWell® and LaserWell Plus® products imaged on printers such as Xerox DocuTech, Heidelberg Digimaster, HPs and Lexmarks. Co-exhibitor Response Builders gave live demonstrations of its Web Sites for Distributors program. Third Place
Ward/Kraft Inc., based in Fort Scott, Kan., provided information about and live demonstrations of its computer-based services, including its online ordering system and W/K Live interactive online training, sales and service tool. Honorable Mention
MAR Graphics, Valmeyer, Ill., presented booth visitors with "Tools for Success." Designed to look like a building under construction, the booth included wall frames, unfinished-wood flooring, saw horses and more. Booth personnel sported hard hats and tool belts. Most Graphically Appealing
Visitors to Victor Printing Inc.'s booth saw a 60-inch, vibrantly colored display with an image of a football player, showcasing the Sharon, Pa.-firm's wide-format, full-color printing capabilities. The display was designed in house by Kelly Evans, graphic designer; John McConnell, digital manager; Shari Resinger, creative director; and Dave Wedlake, digital large format specialist. The booth was staffed by Jim Lumpp (left), sales executive; Marilyn Maruskin, customer service manager; and Craig Belcik, sales executive.
Honorable Mention
Genoa Business Forms, Sycamore, Ill., invited booth visitors to "Move Ahead with Genoa." The booth featured a road construction theme and was decorated with safety cones, construction barriers and a banner marked with tire tracks.
