NEW HIRES
Carrie Hoesli, CDC, was hired by Ennis Inc. as a sales representative covering Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona. She works with B&D Litho of Arizona and Skyline Business forms in Denver, both Ennis companies. Previously, Hoesli was employed as a sales rep at Ward/Kraft Inc. Mike Allen was named general manager of Skyline Business Forms. He has held a number of leadership positions at Calibrated Forms, another Ennis company. Carl Weaver, former manager of Block Graphic’s Portland, Ore., facility, was promoted to general manager. Paul Gray was named general manager of Trade Envelopes’ Tullahoma, Tenn., facility. Previously, Gray was a business consultant outside the print industry, and worked for Wisco and Print Xcel.
Lisa Butler was hired at Printgraphics, Vandalia, Ohio, as a regional sales manager. Previously, she was employed by Ward/Kraft for nearly 24 years. In her new position, Butler is responsible for the upper Midwest and East regions.
Robert Bedoar was hired as northwest region sales manager at Degrava Systems LLC, Roswell, Ga. Previously, Bedoar was employed at the Pitman Company, Konica Imaging, Dupont and Kodak. Scott Gabriel was hired as southeast region sales manager for Degrava. Gabriel was previously employed at 3M Corp., Polychrome and QMS Print Systems. Phil Lopez was hired as technical support manager for the company. He has 32 years’ experience in the printing and graphics industry, and owned Graphic Images Inc. and worked for Kodak and Anitech Image.
Jim Monti was hired as the senior vice president of sales at Flower City Printing, Rochester, N.Y. He has more than 23 years of experience in the printing industry, and has worked for RR Donnelley, Perry Judd, The Dingley Press and Quebecor.
PROMOTIONS
Henry Maus was promoted to office manager of the forms and labels division at Ward/Kraft Inc., Fort Scott, Kan. He has held a lead position at the company for the past 13 years. Billy Cowan was promoted to production supervisor of the labels division. He has been employed in various positions at Ward/Kraft for 15 years.
Pat Mudd was promoted to manager of customer value proposition for the printing and carbonless paper division at Glatfelter, York, Pa. He coordinates development and maintains account contacts with large carbonless roll customers. Tom Umenhofer was promoted to east region sales manager, taking Mudd’s old position. Umenhofer has worked for the company since 2001 as a territory manager.
John Delbridge was promoted to COO of Mimeo.com, Memphis. Previously, he was the CFO of the company and has been involved since the company was founded. He now leads new product development, the online business portion, print production, customer service and other various initiatives.
Joel Mostrom has been elected vice president of Chesapeake Corp., Richmond, Va. Michael Cheetham, Vince Hockett, Timothy Whitfield and Guy Faller have been elected vice presidents and officers. The company consolidated into three operating divisions to streamline operations.
Don Menning was promoted to executive director of marketing at ASI, Trevose, Pa. Previously, Menning was director of marketing for distributor services. He joined ASI in 2004 and helped plan and launch ESP Online, the company’s online ad specialty database. Jack Flohr was named director of marketing for membership services. Previously, Flohr was marketing manager for catalog circulation. Karyn Coates was promoted to executive director of LogoMall, affiliate relations and the newly formed membership information team. Previously, Coates was director of affiliate relations and LogoMall, a promotional products shopping website.

Brenda Kai was named executive director of EDSF a non-profit print industry organization in Rolling Hills Estates, Calif. She was previously vice president of marketing for Docucorp International (now Skywire Software) in Dallas. She replaces Jeanne Mowlds, who has been with the foundation since its inception in 1996. She is a past recipient of the OutputLinks Women of Distinction Award and a certified electronic document professional.
Earl Hatch was named business manager of Oklahoma paper sales at Unisource Worldwide Inc., Norcross, Ga. He has more than 37 years of paper and printing experience, and has been associated with Unisource since 1978. He has been a sales manager of the paper business in Oklahoma City since 2001. Previously, Hatch was employed by S.D. Warren/SAPPI, Roach Paper Company and was self-employed.
Scott T. Reese was promoted to the newly created position of senior vice president of worldwide sales at Xanté, Mobile, Ala. He has been with the company for more than three years, and was previously employed at Austal USA LLC and ICON Software Inc. He spent 10 years as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Roger Lozinski was promoted to senior account manager at Modern International Graphics Inc., Eastlake, Ohio. He has been an account executive in the sales department since 1989. With this new position, Lozinski joins the management team as well.
HONORS
David R. Reny, managing director of Standard Finishing Systems, Andover, Mass., was recognized as a “Soderstrom Honoree” by NAPL, as well as Kevin Joyce, managing director of Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group. They were chosen for their active leadership and decades-long contribution to the industry. Members of the Soderstrom Society, which is named for one of the NAPL founders, are industry leaders who meet to exchange ideas and best practices.
Anders Group Inc., Fort Smith, Ark., received the FedEx Freight Outstanding Performance Award as a “diverse supplier.” The company was one of 17 honorees selected from nearly 10,000 vendors. Anders Group is a woman-owned small business.
