Printco Inc., Omro, Wis., acquired new high-speed, wide-array ink jet equipment made by Videojet Technologies Inc., Wood Dale, Ill. The equipment allows adding of high-quality images and color when addressing mail pieces. Variable imaging allows more personalization of the address area and faster turnaround than laser imaging. Printco also added a 6-station inserter by Pitney Bowes, which can handle up to 10 x 13-inch envelopes at speeds in excess of 10,000 pieces per hour.
