HIRES
Matthew
Nelson and Michael O’Brien
were appointed to St. Louis-based
Jerome Group’s executive
sales team. They’re responsible
for building the direct marketing
and digital printing firm’s
national client base. Nelson,
who leads Jerome’s new Atlanta
office, previously served as vice
president of marketing for The
Caldwell Group, where he created
and managed GeoNeighboring Database
Solutions, a division that processes
prospect records in support of
advertising agencies and marketing
departments. O’Brien previously
served as vice president of business
development and client services
with St. Louis-based Summit Marketing,
where he helped the firm win and
manage high-profile financial
and insurance accounts.
Patrick
Pozezinski
was named vice president of client
services at commercial printer
McCormick-Armstrong’s Wichita
facility. Pozezinski has 21 years’
experience in customer service
and operations.
Peter
Wolfram
was
named regional sales manager at
Hauppauge, N.Y.-based Muller Martini,
a supplier of print finishing
systems and solutions. Wolfram,
who will be based in Centerville,
Ohio, is responsible for the company’s
marketplaces in Ohio and Kentucky.
Previously, he served as sales
manager, Latin America, for Heidelberg
Web Systems and as sales director,
Latin America and Asia Pacific,
for Heidelberg Finishing Systems.
Billy
Walker
was
named national distributor sales
manager at Brazil, Ind.-based
National Printing Converters Inc.,
a manufacturer of pressure sensitive
labels, form combinations, retail
marking systems and digital print
services. He coordinates the company’s
distributor sales program and
builds the digital print center
for this marketplace. He previously
served in various managerial and
sales positions at Poser, Dealer
Label and American Business Forms.
P.C.
“Pat” McGrew
was named vertical industry marketing
director for Kodak Versamark Inc.,
part of Kodak’s Graphic
Communications Group, Dayton,
Ohio. She focuses on the transaction
and personalized promotional communications
markets. Previously, McGrew ran
a consulting practice that specialized
in strategic and tactical audits
of information delivery projects,
product triage, strategic product
design reviews, document strategy
reviews and project management.
She also served as director of
document solutions at Pitney Bowes
Management Services and as an
analyst at CAP Ventures.
Mark
Adams was named vice president
of corporate development and strategy
at Foster City, Calif.-based Electronics
for Imaging Inc., a digital imaging
and print management solutions
provider. He evaluates acquisition
opportunities for EFI, leverages
existing business partnerships
and creates new ones, and develops
internal business plans for new
ventures. Most recently, Adams
served as acting vice president
of data networking at VTech Communications.
Michael
J. Graham
was named senior vice president
and corporate controller at R.R.
Donnelley, Chicago. He most recently
served as vice president and controller
of Sears, Roebuck and Co. He also
has held senior financial positions
at Aegis Communications Group,
The Wellbridge Company, Sunbeam
and Quaker Oats. Rebecca J. Bruening
was promoted to senior vice president
of operations and business integration.
She joined R.R. Donnelley in April
2004 as vice president of business
integration. Prior to joining
the manufacturer, Bruening had
more than 12 years of experience
in corporate finance.
Ariana
van der Heyden Eaton
was named project manager at Structural
Graphics, Essex, Conn. She works
with the print communication provider’s
Northeast sales team to steer
projects from production to completion.
Previously, Eaton ran her own
investment real estate and property
management business, and was an
independent print and electronic
advertising consultant.
PROMOTION
Tom
P. Carrico was named president
of Gill Studios Inc., Lenexa,
Kan. Carrico joined the manufacturer
in 1967 as controller. He was
promoted to the position of treasurer
in 1975 and named administrative
vice president and treasurer in
1976. Carrico served as executive
vice-president and treasurer of
Gill Studios since 1989. He succeeds
Mark S. Gilman, who now serves
as chairman of the board. Gilman
has worked at the company since
1962.
David
Ellen was named director of
sales in the United States for
ink jet and laser printer manufacturer
Domino Amjet Inc. He continues
to direct the ink jet and laser
printer manufacturer’s North
American Commercial Print and
Coding, and Marking divisions.
In his new role, Ellen coordinates
the company’s approach to
the marketplace, and initiates
ideas to improve sales and market
penetration. He previously led
the company’s Commercial
Printing Strategic Business Unit
in the United Kingdom.
