Terry
Pennington was appointed vice
president of the Print Segment
at Ennis Inc., Midlothian, Texas.
He joins the current management
team in the Print Segment division
and will focus on forms and promotional
printing facilities. Previously,
Pennington worked at Cenveo, Denver,
as an executive vice president
with sales and production responsibility
for 13 facilities. He has worked
in the printing industry for 25
years.
Cameron
(Cam) J. McConnell was named
president and CEO of Advance Business
Graphics (ABG), based in Mira
Loma, Calif. As CEO, he will augment
the company’s marketing
and sales team. Prior to his appointment
at ABG, McConnell was a partner
for 25 years in McConnell Group
LLC, which specializes in building
management teams.
Jeff
Richards was named vice president
of business development for FORMost
Graphic Communications Inc., Rockville,
Md. Richards is responsible for
growing the company’s web-to-print
direct marketing. Prior to joining
FORMost, Richards served as vice
president of business development
at USA MailNow, a division of
USA Direct Inc., York, Pa.
Dick
Adams joined Pilgrim Plastics
Products Co., Brockton, Mass.,
as a sales representative. He
will help develop new markets
for Pilgrims’ UV coated
and laminated plastic cards. Prior
to working at Pilgrim, Adams worked
for Arthur Blank & Co., Boston,
Mass.; Plastag, Elk Grove Village,
Ill.; and Jet Litho, Downers Grove,
Ill.
Bob
Colbert was named account
executive in the Telesales department
at Relyco Sales, Inc., Dover,
N.H. Colbert has extensive experience
in sales and marketing. Tom
Cole was named sales assistant/customer
service representative at Relyco.
He will assist senior sales staff
and manage his own client base.
Also, Kim Dixon was named
Partner Development coordinator.
She has 18 years of experience
in sales, customer service and
management.
Paul
LaCerda
joined Vertis, a marketing firm
based in Baltimore, as senior
vice president of sales and advertising
inserts. In his new role, LaCerda
will use his extensive retail
industry experience to support
clients in achieving their marketing
goals. Prior to working at Vertis,
LaCerda was vice president of
sales at Horizon Paper Company,
Stamford, Conn., and held several
senior vice president positions
at Quebecor World.

Tisha Arnell, was named marketing
coordinator at Netronix Corp.,
South Barrington, Ill. Prior
to joining Netronix, Arnell graduated
with a bachelor’s degree
in marketing from Middle Tennessee
State University.
PROMOTIONS
Brian
Webb was named sales manager
at the Ohio Plant of Ward/Kraft,
Inc., Fort Scott, Kan. Webb is
responsible for sales for the
Ohio division, particularly new
product development of pressure
seal combinations, plastics and
hang tag products. He also will
participate in Ward/Kraft’s
on-site educational program. Prior
to his promotion, Webb was a customer
service representative for six
years, conducted Ward/Kraft Live
Webinar training and worked in
sales management. Lisa Butler
was named sales representative
for Ward/Kraft’s Ohio Label
division. She has 22 years of
experience in customer service,
order entry, customer relations
and team training.
Mike
Schmitz was named director
of Information Services at American
Solutions for Business, Glenwood,
Minn. In his new position, Schmitz
will be responsible for implementing
the company’s IT initiatives.
Schmitz has been at the company
for four years and has 19 years
experience in the technology field.
Edward
Farley
was named vice president of sales
for the Paper Business Segment
at Unisource Worldwide Inc., Norcross,
Ga. Farley will lead the U.S.
market area paper sales team.
He joined Unisource in 2003 and
was most recently vice president
of Strategic Sourcing and Marketing
of Uncoated Papers.
Carol
Joswiak was named vice president
of Netronix Corp., South Barrington,
Ill. She was director of Customer
Relations prior to her promotion.
Also, Sunita Patel was promoted
to director of IT. She was previously
lead programmer at Netronix Corp.
IN
MEMORIAM
Larry
Athen, who was Northeast regional
distributor sales manager for
almost seven years at PRINTSouth
Corp., Atlanta, died Jan. 27 after
a long fight with cancer. “He
had a unique way of being a steadfast
Marine, a devoted employee and
coworker, and a lovable father
and friend,” said Mark H.
Clabaugh, the company’s
vice president of sales and marketing.
“He was true all-around
talent.” He is survived
by his wife, Marianne, and their
sons, Michael, Andrew, Scott and
Eric.
