NEW HIRES
Jerry Doubler was hired as divisional vice president and chief financial officer of WorkflowOne, Dayton, Ohio. Most recently, Doubler was vice president and general manager of print-on-demand services for Standard Register, and has held leadership roles at Owens Corning, Avery Dennison and Essilor International.

Randy Albertson was hired as a national account manager at Wisco in Tullahoma, Tenn. In his new position, Albertson promotes the company’s products and provides support for mailing solutions at both Wisco and PrintXcel. He brings two decades of experience in the print and envelope industry, and has worked at Envelope Service, New Century Envelope, Ambassador Envelope, Printgraphics and PrintXcel.

Robert Anderson was hired as western region sales manager at Degrava Systems LLC, Roswell, Ga. Anderson previously worked at Océ Digital Printing Systems, HP/Indigo, Kodak, Scitex and Linotype-Hell. Farhad Farivar also joined Degrava as an engineering manager, with more than 20 years’ experience in design, manufacturing and product management. He has worked at Volvo, Dynapac, Boeing, JCB, Seimens, SKF and Photonic Sensors. Steven Justice was hired as assembly supervisor at Degrava, and brings 30 years of technical customer support experience. He most recently worked at HP/Indigo, and retired from the post of chief aviation electrician in the U.S. Navy.

Dennis Castiglione was hired as executive vice president of Modern International Graphics, Eastlake, Ohio, where he has been a consultant since 1995. Castiglione was more recently the president of PROCOM Management Group Inc., a management consulting firm to the graphic arts industry. In his new position, Castiglione directs the company’s sales and marketing efforts and oversees the customer care and e-commerce departments. He also continues to serve as executive director of Print America, an industry organization.

Ian Mackenzie was hired at Chromaticity Inc., Grand Rapids, Mich., as the vice president of marketing and business development. Mackenzie was formerly an EFI executive with 20 years’ experience in graphic arts sales, marketing and management. In his new position, he oversees marketing and business development as related to wide-format and grand-format imaging, as well as color management expertise.

PROMOTION
Michael Bertolani was promoted to CEO of Degrava Systems LLC, Roswell, Ga. Bertolani joined the company in 2006 as vice president of worldwide sales and marketing, with more than 35 years of experience in industry sales and marketing. Before Degrava, he worked at Xeikon, IBM, Nipson and AGFA.

RETIREMENT
Rick Gerhard, CDC, retired from Tri-Form Company, Placentia, Calif., which he founded after leaving Moore Business Forms. Gerhard worked in the printing industry for 43 years, and has been recognized as DMIA Member of the Year. He was a Print University instructor and trained thousands of students from 1980 until 2005, beginning with the School for New Salesmen and the School for Sales Service Professionals.
