Badger Tag & Label Corp., Random Lake, Wis., announced it can print consecutive and static digits for a variety of bar codes. Besides printing commonly used bar codes such as UPC, Code 39, Code 128 and interleaved 2 of 5, the company also can print codabar, ITF 14 and the EAN-8 and EAN-13 bar codes. It also prints bar codes on tags and labels used on consumer products and by companies internally for inventory control. It can print up to eight colors in combinations of 4-color processes, spot colors, varnishes and laminates. Call (800) 331-4863.

Bradley Graphic Solutions, Bensalem, Pa., installed another 8-color, web offset Didde press. The UV press is equipped with 14-, 17- and 22-inch cylinders and runs roll-to-roll, roll-to-fold and roll-to-sheet. It has high drying power for cut sheet and continuous printing, and UV jumbo rolls. ProDocumentSolutions, Paso Robles, Calif., earned certification from the North American Security Products Organization. The company now maintains a set of security consensus standards. Transcontinental Direct U.S.A., Warminister, Pa., installed PrintStream print and direct mail management system from San Rafael, Calif.-based Streamline Solutions Inc. The software, installed at the company's Fort Worth, Texas, plant, improves workflow, including estimating, order entry, scheduling, production, job costing and billing, the company said. Seidl's Bindery, Houston, expanded its facility to 67,000 square feet. The company wanted to reorganize equipment to achieve better workflow and also make room for the company's third Muller Martini Corona perfecting binding machine. Call (800) 380-3815.

Vertis Inc., Baltimore, Md., purchased five Xeikon 5000 digital color presses. The Xeikon 5000 processes up to 3 million 8.5 x 11-inch color pages a month. Users can add toners during print runs, and press registrations and calibration are automated. The press has a fifth color station as a standard feature and prints on a wide range of substrate weights ranging from 27 lb. text to 16 pt. stock. Walls + Form Inc., Dallas, now offers Graphic Signage Boards™. The sandwich boards offer interchangeable graphic capabilities and are available in tripod, standard A-frame and corner wall-mount designs, the company said. Made from polyurethane, the boards can incorporate 24 x 36-inch posters, and silk screen and vinyl decals on materials such as marker board, Masonite and corrugated plastic, it said.
