NEW HIRES
*Tom Ainsworth was hired as director of sales, labels and tags division, at Ennis Inc., Midlothian, Texas. Most recently, Ainsworth was regional sales manager for the Midwest and director of marketing at Continental Datalabel. In his new position, he will grow tag and label sales from the Ennis Wolfe City, Texas and DeWitt, Iowa facilities.

*Jeff Flowers was hired as account manager at Gill Studios, Lenexa, Kan. Previously, Flowers worked in the broadcast department of Valentine, McCormick, Ligibel Advertising Agency. In his new position, he sells promotional products.

Tim Sawyer was hired as vice president of marketing and graphics at xpedx, Loveland, Ohio. He most recently served as director of prepress consumables business at Kodak, where he was in charge of the greater Asia market. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the printing business.

Tami Fries was hired as regional manager, merchant sales for the mid-America region at Stora Enso, Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. He has more than 20 years’ industry experience. Christophe Kusel was promoted to regional manager of Northeast merchant sales, and has more than 10 years’ experience in the paper industry. More new hires at Stora Enso: Karen Ehman, Bill Fleming, Ryan Hawthorne, Stacey Rimassa and Paige Rosenberger.

Deborah White was hired as director of supplier marketing at the Advertising Specialty Institute, Trevose, Pa. In her new position, White educates ASI suppliers about growing their businesses and promoting their products. White has more than 20 years’ experience in the apparel industry, and previously worked at VNU Business Media.

Davis

*Gina Holt was promoted to director of MIS and software development at Ward/Kraft, Fort Scott, Kan. She has more than 15 years’ management experience in HR, customer relations and systems development, with three years at Ward/Kraft. Roger Davis was promoted to general manager of the long run labels/stock labels division, where he was previously an office manager. Davis has been employed at the company for 18 years.

Tom Fitzgerald was promoted to district sales representative at Mitsubishi Lithographic Presses, Lincolnshire, Ill., where he is responsible for sales of sheetfed presses in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio. Fitzgerald began at Mitsubishi as a field service technician in 1986, and then moved to the customer service department and as senior service supervisor for mechanical and lithographic services. In his new position, he is based in Big Rapids, Mich.

Mike Parmenter Sr., was appointed vice president of sales and marketing at Adstream, formerly Quickcut. He is based in New York and leads the North American division. Previously, Parmenter was in charge of the company’s UK and European print solutions business.

Robert “Kam” Kamerschen was appointed to the board of directors at Direct Group, Pennington, N.J. Kamerschen has more than 40 years’ experience as a senior executive and board leader, including 11 years as chairman and CEO of ADVO Inc. He is a two-time winner of the Postmaster General’s “Partnership for Progress” award. He has worked with DIMAC Inc., Max Factor, Chanel, Christian Dior Parfums, RKO/Six Flags and Norton Simon Inc.
