DMIA’s new e-newsletter covers print industry events

Nearly 30,000 people find something new in their email boxes each month thanks to DMIA’s launch of Ticket earlier this year. The monthly newsletter offers a unique angle on printing industry events ranging from TRADEMarts to the 2007 ON DEMAND Conference and Expo.

“We designed it for printing industry road warriors and road warrior wannabes,” says Brad Holt, DMIA vice president of publications and new media. “It’s focused on industry events—tradeshows, conferences, seminars and special interest group meetings—and has tips on sales, marketing, new products, networking and exhibiting.”

The new e-newsletter features both on-site reporting of conferences as well as event previews. Readers can find a calendar of upcoming events and links to websites where they can register. The 2007 Print Solutions Expo & Conference that will take place in Las Vegas, Oct. 17-19 will be featured prominently in Ticket. Readers can expect to find information about the conference’s keynote speaker and the PEAK awards speaker as well as features about this year’s equipment showcase and the top “hot” products.

Another added bonus: “Ticket is free to readers, thanks to advertiser support,” Holt says.

There are also plans to provide a printed version of Ticket at the 2007 Print Solutions Expo. Thanks to up-to-the-minute reporting that will be provided by the Print Solutions magazine staff, attendees will know what exciting things are happening at the expo while they’re there.
