Alice
Beining was named national
sales representative at manufacturer
Independent Printing Company,
De Pere, Wis. She helps distributors
buy commercial printing and provides
cost-saving ideas on presentation
folders. Shelly DeVillers
was named national sales representative
at FSI Products, a division of
Independent Printing Company that
specializes in presentation folders
and promotional packaging. DeVillers
handles accounts from the quoting
stage through delivery, as well
as representing FSI Products at
industry shows.
Jerry
Bluett was named plant manager
for Sterling Business Forms Inc.’s
Spokane, Wash., plant. Bluett
succeeds Jim Bailey, who
relocated to the manufacturer’s
Sacramento, Calif., plant. Bluett
previously served in a variety
of key manufacturing positions
with Duplex Products, Poser Labels
and Atlas Tag & Label. He
most recently worked as an industry
consultant based in Appleton,
Wis.
Dan
Humphrey was named project
manager at manufacturer Structural
Graphics, Essex, Conn. He steers
projects and clients through the
entire print production process.
Humphrey most recently served
as business development director
for Consolidated Graphics in Massachusetts
and Maryland, where he developed,
promoted, sold and executed printing
and publishing services. He also
previously served as an account
executive at Gamma One, where
he sold and managed prepress and
printing services to catalogers,
publishers and advertising agencies,
and as a sales representative
at New England Offset.
Earl
J. Dunn was named Pictorial
team leader at Pictorial Offset
Corporation, Carlstadt, N.J. He
coordinates sales, production,
manufacturing, distribution, scheduling
and administration. Dunn previously
served as president of Basking
Ridge Graphic Solutions, a company
he founded, and has held executive
positions in administration, sales,
marketing and operations throughout
the greater New York area. Donald
R. Samuels, managing partner,
was inducted into the Printing
Impressions/Rochester Institute
of Technology Hall of Fame. Samuels
joined Pictorial Offset Corporation
in 1975 upon graduating from RIT.
He and his brothers assumed management
of the corporation in 1980. Samuels
founded the Jay P. Samuels Nathaniel
Rochester Society Scholarship
at RIT. In 2005, he and his managing
partners were awarded the New
Jersey Corporate Philanthropic
Award.
Stephen
Atha works with the consulting,
valuation and M&A business
operations of Printer’s
Financial Services Inc., Overland,
Kan. Atha served as CEO of Express
Card & Label, Topeka, Kan.,
for more than l8 years. He also
served as CEO of Express Flexographic
Equipment Company, Inc., until
he arranged its sale to Dover
Corp. and Mark Andy Inc. in 1999.
Atha is a licensed attorney with
experience in numerous industries,
including railroads, steel fabrication
and government contracting.
PROMOTIONS
Steven
L. Gregg was named chief marketing
officer at The AB&C Group,
McLean, Va. He develops business
relationships with leading multichannel
direct marketers and enhances
awareness of The AB&C Group’s
capabilities and service approach
among associations, catalog marketers
and fundraisers. Gregg most recently
served as the company’s
senior vice president of sales
and marketing. He also has worked
as vice president and director
of marketing for the Coffee Development
Group.
Eastman
Kodak Company’s Graphic
Communications Group (GCG) integrated
its United States and Canada region
sales force with its Graphic Solutions
and Services portfolio. Mike
Ciaramella leads the sales
teams in the Eastern zone, which
includes Canada. Rich Rindo
leads the Western zone. Michael
Ring leads the firm’s
solution sales managers and focuses
on digital printing. Territory
sales managers and solutions sales
managers will introduce the GS&S
portfolio of business solutions
within new and existing accounts.
Kodak’s sales organization
also incorporates market and segments
teams, led by Filip Buyse,
that provide expertise for specific
customers.
Don
Harvey
was named vice president and general
manager of xpedx’s U.S.-based
Ryobi division. Loveland, Ohio-based
xpedx, an International Paper
company, distributes printing
papers and graphics supplies and
equipment. Prior to joining the
Ryobi division, Harvey served
as corporate vice president of
marketing for Graphic Imaging
at xpedx, where he led the development,
strategy and execution of its
graphics supplies and equipment
business. He also served as North
American director of marketing
for printing and publishing at
Eastman Kodak Co.
Jill
Fox Tobak was named president
of The C.J. Fox Company, Providence,
R.I. Tobak, whose grandfather
founded the company, most recently
served as vice president of marketing.
During her tenure, Tobak championed
the implementation of the company’s
ISO 9001 program. Robert Starr,
former president of the company,
was elevated to CEO. Stanley
Wescott, former vice president
of finance, assumed the position
of senior vice president.

employees celebrated their 25-year
anniversaries with the company:

Peterson, journeyman machinist;
Kathy Soul, computer technical
officer; and Kevin Robbins, sales
and service manager. Each employee
received an all-expense-paid trip
for two to anywhere in the world.
