2009 PEAK AWARDS

2008 PEAK judging was completed on June 6.

Deadline for Entries: Monday, May 11, 2009

Eligibility: To be eligible for the 2009 PEAK competition, your entry must have been printed between March 1, 2008 and May 8, 2009.

Who Should Enter? Anyone who designs or prints solutions for end users. Contact us at (703) 836-6225 or email us at bholt@printsolutionsmag.com if you have questions.

How to Enter: Fill out a form for each entry. Complete the online form. If you submit your form via the web, additional entry materials must still be mailed in. Attach to each entry your "Solution Summary," which is a brief description (no more than one typed page) of the most important aspects of your solution and what it accomplished. Your Solution Summary should explain the client's business objectives and the improvements you achieved. For example, did you combine documents or reduce mailing weight to eliminate costs? Did your work increase sales volume or the number of prospects for your client? Quantify hard or soft dollar savings whenever possible.

Packaging Your Entry: Each entry consists of an entry form, a solution summary and all relevant documents and two samples of the actual printed piece. All the items for each entry should be enclosed in a single envelope. If you have five entries, you should have five envelopes, each one containing all the relevant information—entry form, solution summary and two samples—for each entry. Package your entries carefully to prevent damage in shipping. Some entries will be photographed or scanned and featured in Print Solutions Magazine and/or its web site or displayed at the Print Solutions Conference and Expo.

Fees: $80 per entry for PSDA members; $150 per entry for non-members. There is no limit to the number of entries a company may submit. Payment must be made at time of entry submission by credit card or check. Make checks payable to Print Solutions Magazine.

Multiple Entry Discount: PSDA members pay $80 for the first entry and $40 for each subsequent entry. Non-members pay $150 for the first entry and $75 for each subsequent entry. You may enter the same solution in multiple categories, but you incur an entry fee for each category.

Judging: A panel of distinguished veterans of the printing industry will be judges. Entries will be judged "blind," meaning the judges will not know who produced the entry or who entered it. Categories may be created or deleted depending on the nature and number of entries. Judges may move your entry to a different category if it seems more appropriate than the one you selected.

Awards
Grand Awards winners receive a trophy. Awards of Excellence winners receive a certificate. Many of the winners will be featured in Print Solutions Magazine. Awards will be presented at the 2009 Print Solutions Conference and Expo.

All winners receive "Print Solutions 2009 Winner" electronic logo files to use in their own promotions, plus a press release from Print Solutions Magazine naming their company as a winner. The release can be copied and distributed to local media. For complete details, click here.

Winning entries may be displayed in Print Solutions Magazine, on the magazine's web site and at the Print Solutions annual conference and Expo. Print Solutions assumes all entries are original and the property of the entrant. Print Solutions reserves the right to recategorize entries, create new categories or eliminate categories if appropriate. No entries will be returned.
